Words written: 5,547 words
Thoughts: I wrote over 5,000 words today and made four book covers using Canva. My productivity increases with each day, and I am so proud of myself. This is actually a lot of fun, and I love seeing my work come together.
Today, I felt really inspired in my writing, and I was able to visualize while I wrote, almost as if I was transcribing what I was seeing in my mind. It was quite wonderful, and I’m excited to continue my story tomorrow.
I also see where I fell short on the previous novella I was writing. It felt too detailed with not enough action, and I need to add a prologue like I did for the novella I started today. However, there is a difference between the two stories even though they’re in the same series. The second novella has more drama and action since the premise is dependent on it. The first novella is about two characters stranded in a certain place, so there’s not much for them to do.
When I start editing it, I’ll figure out what to do. Anyway, I’ve rattled on long enough.
