100k Word Challenge: Day 30

Words written today:  2,049

Words written overall this month:  100,490

Thoughts:  Woohoo!  I did it!  I wrote 100,000 words in one month!  It was incredibly hard, but I learned time management (doesn’t count when I’m sick), and how to write 2,000 words in one hour.  The guy who created the challenge is doing another for September.  I’m going to pass on that one and give my brain a break.  I won’t stop writing everyday though.  That has become too important to me, and my daily minimum will still be 250 words.

Hopefully, I can wrap up my novella tomorrow, so that I can start on my new project on Friday.  Well, several projects, but I’m specifically talking about another novella.  I have a four day weekend coming up with no plans, so I will have plenty of time to write and plan!

It has been a true joy blogging this journey nearly everyday, so I might stick to this whole blogging everyday thing.  I know the challenge technically ends tomorrow, but I’m officially done with my word count for the month.  I still have to finish the novella, but let’s just enjoy the moment while we can.

Also, I got my Performance Evaluation from my job this week, and I got either an Outstanding or Very Good on each category!  I am so thankful that my hard work has paid off because it was tiresome and draining.  I’m not too sure what the future has in store for me, but I love my two jobs (day job and writing erotica).  I’ve learned a lot since starting, and it’s been one hell of a learning curve with no end in sight.  That’s fine since I love learning and discovering new things.

I hope you all have a wonderful night!

Much love, Dana Kenzi 🙂
